Brief summary of my experiences with travelling
Ever since I was very little, I had been spending most of my childhood traveling, exploring vast varieties of countries and towns. My family had the habit of going for adventures exploration around the Taiwan island, with most of these being infamous yet fabulous and significant locations. During the process of the trips, they would always taught me about the histories and stories of these places and that, any of these tales never ceased to amaze me.
Shepherd’s Bush Market
Resided on the busy western part of London, Shepherd’s Bush Market is a local cultural market place with lots of items mainly imported from Africa and the Middle East that are sold in ideal prices and a wide variety of options.
To travel there from LCC, I had to take the Bakerloo Underground line from Elephant & Castle station, transferred for Hammersmith & City line in Baker Street station until finally arriving at Shepherd’s Bush Market station. Upon exited the station, I had the sight of the market just across the street.
After entering the location, a vast varieties of unique and colorful items sold in the crowded yet very tidy stores that really provided me with so many surprises. They have all kinds of laterns, clothes, shoes and even foods. These are the stocks that don’t exist in my country, everything was just so new and interesting to me.
As I walked deeper through the building, I happened to wondered in to another section of the market where the stores were aligned nicely to a clean and topless street. Some of the interesting items brought in to my curiosity where I started asking the price from the staffs within several of the shops. They were people that came from all over the world, and they answers each of my questions so kind and so nicely. The amount of generous in their behavior is something even myself find difficult to achieve and I really admired the ways they’re running those businesses. These were such pleasures and delightfulness of conversation and I really enjoyed these moments.
Lastly, I had my dinner in a Turkish food restaurant – it’s named in Fishermen’s hut but has the best Turkish dishes I have ever tasted in a long while. The name of this food is called Turkish Shawarma, it comes with lamb slices, salad and Turkey bread. In the end I headed to my next location with some brilliant souvenirs as a result. Shepherd’s Bush Market is such an excellent location and I would certainly visit it again!
